Here's some of what I'm delivering locally with the Albanese Labor Government:

 

A new Mullumbimby Ambulance Station

The Mullumbimby Ambulance Station will be rebuilt on its current site with improved flood resilience.
As your local MP, I’m proud to have delivered $3.4 million in joint funding from the Federal and NSW Labor Governments to build a new ambulance station in Mullumbimby.

 More than $8 million for aged care upgrades

Labor is delivering more than $8 million in federal funding to ensure our older Australians on the North Coast receive the high-quality care they deserve.
  • St. Andrews Community Aged Care Village Ballina will receive more than $3.8 million to reconfigure existing residential accommodation into four memory support households, with 31 beds for people living with dementia. 
  • Feros Care Village Bangalow will receive more than $4.2 million to deliver 14 new rooms with private ensuites and upgraded common areas.
As your local MP, I’m always working to improve aged care services in our region.

South Beach Rd and Torakina Park upgrade

As your local MP, I'm proud to have delivered $500,000 from the Albanese Labor Government towards transforming South Beach Road and the Torakina Carpark.
The upgrades include modern drainage infrastructure, fresh landscaping, new kerb and guttering, and improved parking with clear line marking.

  The new Tweed Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

We’ve announced that expressions of interest have now opened for GP clinics looking to be a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic in the Tweed region.
An Urgent Care Clinic is a clinic you can walk into for urgent but non-life-threatening care, such as stitches, minor cuts and burns, and more - rather than going to hospital.
